How exactly does PayXT work?
PayXT is a mobile interface that connects directly to your existing Stripe or PayPal account. Instead of logging into a clunky dashboard to create an invoice, you simply type an amount into PayXT. In under 3 seconds, we generate a secure checkout link that you can instantly text to your client.
Do my clients need to download the app to pay me?
Absolutely not. Zero friction is our core philosophy. When you text your client the payment link, it opens a secure web page directly in their phone's browser. They can pay instantly using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or a standard credit card.
Does PayXT take a percentage of my sales?
No. We do not touch your money or charge a hidden platform transaction fee. The only fees you pay are the standard credit card processing fees charged by your chosen gateway (e.g., Stripe's 2.9% + 30ยข). Best of all, PayXT has a toggle that allows you to legally wrap those gateway fees into the final invoice total so you keep 100% of your earnings.
Where does the money go when a client pays?
Because PayXT uses your personal API keys, the money flows exactly as it would if you sent the invoice directly through Stripe or PayPal. The funds are deposited directly into your connected payment gateway account and transferred to your bank according to your normal payout schedule.
Why can't I find PayXT in the App Store?
Our native iOS and Android applications are currently in beta. However, PayXT is built as a Progressive Web App (PWA). You can install it on your phone right now by opening our app in Safari or Chrome, tapping your browser's "Share" or "Menu" icon, and selecting "Add to Home Screen." It functions exactly like a native app.
Is PayXT secure?
Yes. PayXT utilizes enterprise-grade cloud architecture. We never see, process, or store your clients' credit card information. All transactions are securely routed through Stripe or PayPal's PCI-compliant infrastructure.
